# Trust & Social Proof

Build trust with Icons with Text for USP bars, Logo Slider for partner and press logos, and Testimonials for customer reviews and quotes.

Three sections for building credibility — icon-based value propositions, a row of brand logos, and customer testimonials with multiple display formats.

### Quick decision guide

**Highlighting store benefits or guarantees?** → [Icons with Text](/docs/avante-themes/sections/trust-and-social-proof/icons-with-text-and-logo-slider.md) — free shipping, secure checkout, money-back guarantee, and similar trust signals with icons.

**Showing brand partnerships or press features?** → [Logo Slider](/docs/avante-themes/sections/trust-and-social-proof/icons-with-text-and-logo-slider.md) — a logo row with an optional link on each logo and optional dividers between them. It does not move on its own: **Grid type** puts four or five logos in the row and the rest go onto a slider track with arrows underneath.

**Displaying customer reviews?** → [Testimonials](/docs/avante-themes/sections/trust-and-social-proof/testimonials.md) — multiple layout formats (slider, grid, featured quote) with star ratings, author photos, and source attribution.

### Shared features

All three sections support color scheme overrides, custom top and bottom spacing, and mobile-responsive layouts.

None of the three has a **Section width** setting — they always follow the store's page width. Only Logo Slider can override the side padding, through **Left and right** (Default / Disable / Enable); the store default for it lives in **Theme settings → Appearance**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://staylime.com/docs/avante-themes/sections/trust-and-social-proof.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
