September 2026 — Initial release

Theme Companion launches on the Shopify App Store:

  • Theme updates — update supported themes to new versions while keeping your customizations. Conflicts are shown for your explicit decisions, and you preview the result on a draft theme before anything goes live. See How theme updates work.

  • Sections — a catalog of ready-made sections for any Online Store 2.0 theme. See Adding sections.
